Developed in close partnership with Arctic Boats, this customized search and rescue vessel reflects the deep operational expertise of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS). Involved from the very first design phase, DGzRS ensured the vessel was precisely tailored to meet the challenges of real-world rescue operations.
Following the successful development and validation of the 8.4-metre aluminium rescue boat, three vessels of this class have been delivered to the DGzRS and are currently in operational service along the Baltic coast. The boats are deployed at selected stations, where they are employed in routine and emergency maritime search and rescue missions under a wide range of environmental and sea-state conditions.
